We can’t say we have owned very many of these-as they do NOT come nice. This coin was easy to buy and is great to look at!
Deep, clear, clean, and extra strong mirrors have excellent reflectivity. Only with a strong glass (and if you look hard) will you find a few stray lines. Both sides are covered by a beautiful and totally ORIGINAL deep royal blue/purple/pewter color mix. Every detail is pinpoint sharp in strike and does have light frost. The eye appeal is huge!
ONLY 1000 were minted, but most were melted due to poor sales. PCGS 43, NGC 30, CAC 8. The last PCGS piece to sell was a NON CAC which brought $1,293.00 03/21013. An NGC CAC piece brought 1880.00 10/12 Heritage. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, this is a tough date to find!
PR 3CS are a great set to build. It is a completable set in PR64/65. Also, it can be completed for well UNDER $50,000.00. That’s a great numismatic keepsake and investment!
