SUPERB in every respect! This coin is a near miss cameo too.
Deep and glass like mirrors are crystal clear, have NO problems, and of course have intense reflection. Only a HIDDEN teenie planchet imperfection (on the reverse) keeps this coin from a PR67. You don’t even have to twirl this coin to see the mirror blast. The colors are a totally ORIGINAL olive/violet/golden brown/navy that are super lively. EVERY detail is razor sharp in strike and have beautiful colored frosting. The eye appeal is sensational!
ONLY 625 were ever minted. PCGS 28, NGC 26, CAC 14. The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $2,468.00 12/2017 . These are NOT as easy to find as you think. However, you can still build a 65/66 1859-1873 with little problem.
