The surfaces are incredibly smooth and clan. Even if you use a really strong glass you won’t find anything at all. There are faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Both sides enjoy a moderate luster. You can’t beat the totally original mix of deep golden brown/blue/purple colors. All of the details are sharply struck. Only a small tick on the reverse III is what make be keeping this coin from an MS67 designation. The eye appeal is really fantastic! ONLY 4500 minted. PCGS 10, NGC 11, CAC 5. PCGS has graded only this coin an MS66+. There are two MS67’s and one crazy MS68 which we placed in the Simpson Collection. An MS67 PCGS CAC sold for $28,200.00 in 01/2018.
