$5 1795 SE PCGS MS64 BD-3 GREEN/NEWMAN

Legend Numismatics is proud to offer one of the greatest 1795 gold coins that exists. When we were first offered his coin we almost fell to our knees. What a friggen coin it is!

Amazing surfaces appear super clean and smooth. There is a faint hint of semi-prooflike mirrors. Only when using a strong glass and looking really hard will you find a few LIGHT lines and scuff that keep this coin from being an MS65. In OUR opinion, it is better then a MS64 (maybe a 64+) , but we make NO promises. The luster is strong. A marvelous original mix of orange/greenish gold swirls all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. There is a tad of weakness tho on the Eagles left leg which was typical due to uneven striking pressure. The eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 4, NGC 2, CAC 1. There is only one CAC -a 65 higher. This coin brought $336,175.00 11/2017 as a NGC. BIG difference in value in a  PCGS CAC holder. The current owner paid $450,000.00 for it. He recognized this is one of the few opportunities you will ever have to obtain a SUPERB 1795 $5. You stretch to buy a great coin like this!

This coin is in the same league as the 50C 1795 we sold last week. You will never find something even close to this magnificent coin!
