Finding nice and ORIGINAL Early Gold has been near impossible the past year or so. This piece came to us and has all the bells and whistles a picky Early Gold buyer could ask for. When we first saw this piece we were immediately smitten.
The surfaces are clean overall. With a strong glass you can find a few microscopic pin pricks and minor contact marks. There is a moderate luster. The colors are a rich original gold that is evenly spread all over. There are NO Spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and have even light wear. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 20, NGC 14, CAC 8. The current Collectors Universe Value is $22,500.00. This coin is far nicer then what you will see. One of these last auctioned in 2014-6 long years ago (and back then it realized $19,975.00). This is the only example of this date we have ever handled.
This coin has been off the market since 2013!
