$5 1802/1 PCGS MS64

$47,500.00

We only buy these when we really like them and they are problem free. The quality here clearly is HIGH END!

Incredibly clean and sleek surfaces offer up zero imperfections to the naked eye. Even when using a strong glass at best all you see is a pin point tick or two. You can also see some die clashing (Mint made). A good glowing luster beams from all over. Both sides are a totally original sandy gold color. There are NO discolorations. There re two tint copper dots on the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have delicate frost. We grade the reverse full GEM MS65. The eye appeal is SUPERB!

PCGS 17, NGC 12, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 3 coins higher (only one is CAC). The last 1802/1 to sell in auction PCGS CAC, brought $55,813.00 09/2018. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, these is a very difficult date to find near full GEM quality. There is only one MS65 graded, that today would cost you easily $140,000.00+, if it ever were to appear. As time goes on, good luck finding nice PCGS CAC gold like this. These are legitimately rare coins again!
