$5 1805 CLOSE DATE PCGS MS64

$67,500.00

Our jaws dropped and locked when we see this magnificent SUPER HIGH END GEM. We’d bet prior to certification, this coin would have been called an MS65. It really is that HIGH END! Outstanding surfaces are super clean. Only with a strong glass can you detect some microscopic ticks/lines/frost breaks. A full booming radiant luster that is original (which is mind boggling) beams boldly from all over. Both sides are a rich and totally original orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is PHENOMENAL! PCGS 18, NGC 17, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 2 coins finer. It is critical to note the last one of these to sell in auction prior to this piece brought $63,250.00 06/2012. We all know that after 6 long years, demand has only grown while supply (only 4 CAC coins) has fallen to practically none. The last MS65 to sell was a non CAC which brought $164,500.00 09/2015. This coin is will elevate just about ANY collection it calls home. Finding the lone nicer CAC coin (which would cost $165,000+ if you could find the lone CAC piece), is not in the cards for a very long time.
