$5 1813 PCGS MS64+

WOW what a stone cold killer GEM Early Gold piece! In the old days when coins were rae (yeah, we were there), this coin easily would have been called a GEM MS65. PCGS was very tough on it by grading it only MS64+. Overall, the surfaces are extremely clean and smooth. Only using a strong glass can you find an ultra tiny tick or two.  We do feel  the surfaces are still GEM quality.Possibly a light frost break or two keep this from MS65. A strong luster shows off the beautiful and totally original deeper yellow gold color. Miss Liberty and every detail are sharply struck and have loads of frost. The eye appeal is great plus! PCGS  52, NGC 18, CAC 11. This is the ONLY MS64+ graded! The last auction record for a PCGS CAC piece was $70,500.00 01/2016.  If this had been in the CSNS Sale last week it would probably have brought MORE then what we are asking. This coin has never been sold via auction. There is only ONE PCGS MS65 graded-and that has been off the market since 1991. If you seek an Early Gold piece that is all there and then some, this is it!
