$5 1836 PCGS MS64

We are huge fans of this Type of coins. It is our strong opinion these are so tremendously undervalued. Think about how many you have ever seen that are really nice and original. We know we see very few dates other then 1834. The coin offered here is clearly SUPERB and high end. Superior surfaces are satiny and are remarkably clean. Even if you use a strong glass, all you will see are a few super light frost brakes, no hits. There is no question t his coin is totally original and has never been dipped. A strong satiny type of luster beams from all over. Both sides are a lovely GEM gold color. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 16, NGC 4, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 4 coins higher (2 MS64+ and 2 MS65). CAC has beaned nothing higher than MS64. None of the MS64+ that had been in auction were CAC either (and they brought mid $20’s in 2016). We assure you, if a an MS65 CAC ever surfaces, it would easily sell for $85,000.00+. We think this exact coin in MS64 is cheap relative to its rarity. Even  back in 2007, NON CAC’s were selling for $25,000.00 at auction. This coin certainly has been overlooked (in our opinion)! Do NOT be fooled by the popes here. There is no real accurate pricing for this coin. With only one other beaned, good luck finding another!  This coin will fit nicely into ANY GEM Type or $5 collection.
