At first glance, this coin looks like a proof. It is just plain remarkable.
Super deep mirrors explode from all over. Its like getting hit by a powerful flash of light. The surfaces do have a few tiny ticks and even some light die polishing lines, but they show up because the mirrors are so deep. As you can expect, the luster is crazy. Both sides are an original gold with faint toning, There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details stand out with razor sharp strikes and light frost. There some contrast here. The eye appeal is gonzo incredible!
PCGS 5, NGC 11, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only this coin in MS64+. Only two MS66’s are higher (and are worth a fortune if they CAC). One MS66 sold for $92,000.00 in 2004! There are no auctions for any 64+ ever selling. An MS64 NO CAC sold for $17,625.00 in 2017. We know if we put this coin in auction it would be madness. We feel strongly we are offering at “market” and are not asking anything ridiculous.
