$5 1857-S PCGS MS65+ SS CENTRAL AMERICA

This beast of coin is clearly the second finest known (you can buy the 66 for beyond moon money). We fully agree this coin is a GEM MS65+ in every respect! If we did not tell you this coin had been sitting on the bottom of the ocean for 125+ years, you would never know it. The conservation job was incredible. There are just a few very tiny ticks scattered around and can be seen. Again, they are tiny and do not affect the coins true grade. The obverse surfaces are sleek. The reverse surfaces actually have faint semi prooflike mirrors. Both sides are intensely lustrous and shine with a bright gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is tremendous! PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. PCGS has graded only 1 higher. Even in NON Shipwreck 1857S’s, you can’t even find an MS64 trading (last one was 2010).
