First, this coin has prooflike mirrors so deep we had to double check it to make sure the coin is not a proof. No PL designation needed here-the mirrors are a full 8″+ and are “in your face”. Even more impressive-the surfaces have a just a tiny and widely scattered tick or two. No question this coin is a original and has never been messed with. Both sides are a GEMMY original deeper yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. The contrast is amazing! Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
Only 3458 were minted. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There are no correct published prices for this coin. It has been off the market for many years. For certain it will be a standout in the greatest $5 Liberty Collection or even in a box of 20!
