Totally original pale orange gold with full mint frost distinguishes this appealing coin. A scattering of contact marks kept this from grading higher. While considered relatively common, 1893 is much less common than the more available 1900, 1901 or 1901-S, particularly in the higher grades. PCGS 330, NGC 736, CAC 52. PCGS designated 27 coins as 64+. Last auction sale for this date was for $940 in June 2016; two coins sold in July and August 2010 for $1,610 and $1,495.
