$5 1895 PCGS MS65

This is a wonderful example of a date and grade we hardly ever see. Great surfaces appear clean and satiny smooth to the naked eye. Only using a strong glass can you find a minor frost break or two. The luster is a thicker satiny type that rolls around. Both sides are a GEM original gold color with highlights of pale greenish gold at the rims only. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is terrific! PCGS 24, NGC 78, CAC 5. PCGS has graded only 8 coins higher. There are NO auction records for any PCGS CAC MS65 ever selling. The current Collectors Universe Value is $3,500.00. This is the first 1895 MS65 that we apparently have ever owned.
