This is NOT a common date by any stretch! However, this IS a VERY HIGH END coin.
The obverse is just 2-3 tiny ticks from full MS65. The surfaces are slightly semi-prooflike. The reverse is full MS65. A full luster beams vividly from all over. Both sides enjoy a gorgeous totally original pale greenish gold color by the rims and yellow gold centers. There are NO spots or discolorations any where. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and standout. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 57, NGC 49, CAC 14. PCGS has graded only 10 cons MS64+ and just 8 in MS65. An MS64+ example has not sold in auction since 2012-6 full years ago. The current Collectors Universe Value is $2,750.00-which we deem as correct. We certainly hardly ever see this date and grade offered. Opportunity Knocks loud here!
