How in the world has this coin managed to survive 110 years with NO problems? It still looks like it did the day it left the bank!
An intense and bold luster you can see from across the room attracts your immediate attention. The surfaces have just a few very trivial and teenie ticks you can ONLY see with a glass. To the naked eye everything looks clean. Both sides are a GEM ORIGINAL yellow gold color. There are No spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 26, NGC 37, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher. The last PCGS/CAC MS66 to sell in a major auction brought $5,750.00 1/2012 Heritage . Prior to that, another sold for $7,500.00 in 08/2011 Heritage. Opportunity definitely knocks loud here!
