$5 1905 PCGS MS65

This is a very satisfying and totally original GEM. A rich satiny luster glows on both sides of this well struck GEM. Totally original surfaces are clean and satiny smooth overall. There are only a couple of microscopic ticks and a few orange toning dots here and there. The color is a totally original deeper orange gold. The eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 49 , NGC 36, CAC 12. Only one CAC approved example has sold in auction, bringing $3,738 in a June 2012 auction (that was five years ago!). Since then, even a non-CAC coin sold for as much as $4,113 (January 2013).
