$5 1908 PCGS MS66+
One look and this coin will impress you. It did to us! No question this coin is HIGH END and is well worthy of its + designation! Excellent surfaces have a few frost breaks, but no whacks or visible problems. Even when using a strong glass there is nothing that stands out. The dreaded right reverse field has a few light frost breaks. An highly impressive boldly glowing luster beams from all over. Both sides are a beautiful even and original yellow gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. All of the details are sharply struck and have delicate frost. The Indians high cheek bone is problem free. There are just so many positives about this coin. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 20, NGC 13, CAC 11. PCGS has graded only 2 in MS66+ with 3 higher. It is critical to note, there has not been a MS66+ sold at auction since 2011. That coin brought $40,250.00. We can not find MS66’s (for get the +) that are CAC in ANY date. If you are building a Type or $5 Indian set, this coin is a “must buy”. We did all the hard work of finding it for you! We can not even remember the last time we had a regular no + MS66.
