$1 1865 PCGS MS63 CAC

  As many of you know. Legend Numismatics has worked with out partner Bruce Morelan to build the finest ever MS Set of Seated Dollars. Our search was endless. We know everything about EVERY date of this series inside and out-and more then anyone else. One thing we will tell you-this date is a stopper in real MS.Even then, they don’t come that nice. So when we saw this coin, we knew we had to own it! No kidding, this coin is one small scratch from grading full MS64. You actually have to tilt the coin to really see it (on the obverse). The rest if the surfaces are outrageously clean and smooth. There are faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors.  A moderate luster enhances the moderate and totally  original shades of deep pewter/pale navy colors. These are NOT drab or dull colors either. Miss Liberty and the details are extremely well struck. The eye appeal is really nice! PCGS 6, NGC 1, CAC 1. NO PCGS or NGC  MS63 has EVER been sold at auction. The lone 64 CAC piece sold for $25,850.00 in 2014 (its a PCGS POP 10). There is only ONE MS65 (its in the Legend Collection).  We can NOT stress enough how rare this piece is. After 30 years of operations by PCGS, we were stunned to find this is the first MS63 we have ever owned. Opportunity could not knock any louder!
