$5 1912 PCGS MS65

Ever since the major telemarketers abandon this series and prices have come back to reality, we LOVE these coins! At the Boston ANA Show we were fortunate to be able to buy a really clean GEM 1912.

Using the most powerful glass all you can find is a hidden thin line on the obverse and a light frost break on the reverse. In fact the dreaded upper right side of the reverse is amazingly clean for change. The surfaces appear smooth and do emit a strong luster. These are NO spots or discolorations. The color is a deeper ORIGINAL gold. Every detail is lightly frosted and has a sharp strike. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 46, NGC 38, CAC 3. PCGS has graded NONE higher-a VERY powerful statement as to how these do NOT come (nice)! The last one of these to sell in major public auction brought $15,525.00 08/09 B+M. This date does not appear frequently in GEM.
