$5 1912 PCGS MS65

Forget the pops, this date is really hard to find in true GEM. No questions, this coin is an absolute true GEM!

First thing to note, the reverse field to the right of the eagle is clearly above average in cleanliness. The surfaces all over are satiny smooth and clean too. A strong glowing luster beams from all over. Both sides are an even totally original gold color. There are no spots or discolorations anywhere. All of the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 63, NGC 44, CAC 11. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $19,200.00 01/2019 (we were bummed as we had bid really strong on it too). Prior tot that coin selling, another sold for $16,450.00 01/2017. Do NOT be fooled by any pops or price guides. You can NOT buy any CAC MS65’s anywhere near $10,000.00. 1912 in GEM is considered a better date.
