The surfaces are smooth, satiny, VERY clean, and have a strong luster. There is a hint of two tone colors of gold and yellow gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are exceptionally struck. You will be greatly impressed at the coins memorable eye appeal!

Much rarer than most people realize, this coin has ONLY 483 minted. PCGS 9, NGC 46, CAC 6. PCGS has graded NONE higher while NGC has just one MS66. Keep in mind, Octagonals have a PCGS pop of 17 in MS65 and a mintage of 645. Last year a PCGS MS65 ROUND sold for $172,500.00 in a Goldberg Sale. The published bids are ridiculous for this coin.
