50C 1795 PCGS AU58 2 LEAVES O-110 CAC

Legend Numismatics has bought and sold many incredible 1795 Halves (including the Small Head).  We rank this particular piece as not only our all time favorite, but as one the greatest AU’s by far that exists!  THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FINER AU58 (including the AU58+).   You bet we are going to be picky about who can buy it.

The friction is so light and invisible that when we showed the coin to our world class dealer friends, most said it looks so unc. (we think AU58+++).  Incredible surfaces reveal only a widely scattered tick or two if you use a strong glass. You can see some Mint made die clashing-but it is not heavy. An amazing booming luster is some thing rarely seen on other Bust halves. A pinch of auburn frames the rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are remarkably struck. You do not need a glass to see the virtually full feathers of the eagle. There is NO discolorations on the high points. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!

PCGS 15, NGC 46, CAC 4. The records we have access to indicate NO PCGS CAC piece has ever been sold via auction. None of the published price guides have it right either. We know an MS62 NGC coin had sold for $82,000.00 08/2016. With so many of these cleaned in AU-to low MS, a coin like this is an unheard of treasure.

If you collect Bust Halves or any Bust coins, this is a coin you should examine and consider it. This coin absolutely beats many MS graded coins we have seen. Don’t think too long-great coins like this do not last long! SEEING IS BELIEVEING!
