50C 1823 PCGS MS64 O-111a

$4,950.00

In hand this coin is just awesome. We believe before 3rd party grading it would easily have been called an MS65. PCGS is funny about the certain looks it wants. It is absolutely VERY high end! Exqusite surfaces are as close to “as struck” as you will see for any 195 year old coin. We did go over it with a strong glass and found NO imperfections. A good luster radiates from all over. Both sides have a moderate mix of totally original pale olive/pale purple/pale rose/deep silver colors. These colors NOT dull or flat.  Miss Liberty and every detail are exceptionally struck and do appear boldly. In hand, the eye appeal is this coin is GEMMY and beautiful! PCGS 54, NGC 36, CAC 18. The last PCGS CAC piece (an 108a) to sell in auction brought $4,230.00 01/2017. The last MS64+ to sell in auction was NOT CAC and it brought $5,170.00 06/2017. Its not like you can just go out and buy any 1823. We bought this coin because we love its outstanding quality and eye appeal! WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE
