No question this coin was carefully preserved. The surfaces are super clean and have virtually NO blemishes of ANY size, ANY where. A strong luster does show off the even “old time” ORIGINAL deep pewter/pale olive/golden brown/blue colors. There is only a slight darkening on the cheek. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is super pleasing!
PCGS 20, NGC 6, CAC 4. NO Bust Half Dollar in PCGS/CAC MS65 or finer is common. NO CAC’s have ever sold in auction for this date. The last 1830 SM O to NON CAC sell brought $9,500.00 back in 2010. We think these are easily $12,500.00 coins today!
