50C 1834 PCGS MS65 SMALL DATE, SMALL LETTERS

$9,875.00

If you seek one GEM Bust Half for any reason, this coin will fit your needs. It is friggin GEMMY and gorgeous! Superior surfaces are satiny yet we see slight hints of semi-prooflike mirrors on the obverse. Even if you use a microscope you will not find any imperfections anywhere. Both sides have a beautiful and even totally original toning. Shades of lavender/blue/deep champagne/pale green cover all areas. There is no black toning on any of the highpoints. Miss Liberty and every detail are sharply struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous! PCGS 15, NGC 6, CAC 9. The last CAC piece to sell in auction was an NGC which brought $9,109.00 01/2015. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $10,925.00 08/2011. We can’t stress enough how elusive these are in GEM> Plus, they seemed to have been slightly spanked by the market (for no real reason).  For 183 years this coin sat somewhere totally undisturbed. Pretty amazing in our opinion!
