50C 1867 PCGS MS66

We feel very bad for this coin. To quote the late great Rodney Dangerfield “I don’t get no respect” -nor does this coin. This particular piece is also SUPER HIGH END.

The surfaces of this coin are only 2 small ticks away from perfection. You need a glass to see them. Overall, the surfaces appear clean and satiny. You can also see faint traces of semi prooflike mirrors around the details. Both sides do emit a strong luster. A totally original mix of pale golden brown/reddish golden brown evenly covers the entire coin. Miss Liberty and the details are incredibly struck-you do not need a glass to see anything. All of the details are also clearly frosted. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 2. Hard to believe there are two higher. The MS68 is actually CAC! WOW! Anyway, we strongly feel the market has disrespected this coin in terms of its value. Even in MS65 there are only 4. Sounds to us like the coin offered here should be worth $15-$20,000.00. Time will get it to be valued right.

In this market we know most MS Seated like this are just too cheap. Picking up a couple of pieces like this (or trading in your stuff) is a very wise move. This coin deserves all the respect it can get!
