We are madly in love with this GEM! We consider it SUPER HIGH END! It has the right “old time” original look.
Shimmering surfaces are prooflike. They are also virtually perfect. Using a strong glass and looking all over we found only a tiny tick or two. The luster is strong as well. The peripheries have totally original sea foam green/blue/violet colors. the centers are a deeper pewter. Every details is needle sharp in strike and has thick frost. The eye appeal is awesome!
Only 4400 were minted. PCGS 19, NGC 22, CAC 5. The last one to sell in auction brought $4,500.00 01/2010. Teh current Collectors Universe Value is $5,000.00. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, we do NOT see this date or grade with any frequency!
