50C 1885 PCGS MS64

AWESOME COLORS! These colors are close to the type you saw on the Norther Lights toned Morgans! We rarely see halves where Mother Nature has done such amazing work as she has here. This is a coin you look at once and never forget! Save for one small area of small disturbances (some light ticks) that are very well hidden in the right field, the surfaces are very clean overall. The surfaces are also semi-prooflike and glow with a really strong luster. Mother Natures magical paint brush created a masterpiece of totally original plum/violet/green/blue/gold colors that swirl all over. You do not have to imagine the colors. In fact for a half dollar we rank the colors a 9 on our 1-10 scale (10 is the best). Miss Liberty and the details stand out with strong frost and sharp strikes. We grade the reverse a full MS65. The eye appeal is just awesome! ONLY 5200 were minted. PCGS 19, NGC 17, CAC 2. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $5,233.00 11/2011. That is SEVEN long years ago!
