50C 1886 PCGS MS67

We unhesitatingly call this coin the FINEST 1886 MS Half! We just purchased an old holdered MS66 for $22,000.00-and thought that was perfect. We remember seeing the other PCGS MS67 long ago-and don’t remember it being as lively as this piece. This coin is also still in the its original old green tag PCGS holder. This is NOT one that has been upgraded or pushed. Originally it was labeled a PR in the Elasiberg sale-it clearly is MS.

You could write a book on all of this coins many MONSTER attributes. Sleek, ultra clean, and fully prooflike surfaces are totally a blaze with luster. Both sides are evenly covered by moderate colors of violet/blue/tangerine/golden brown. Miss Liberty and the details are so sharply struck and thickly frosted, they look sculpted! Your heart not only will pound wildly when it sees this incredible GEM, it just might jump out and stay with it forever! ONLY 5000 pieces were ever minted.
