50C 1897 PCGS PR68

Another amazing-no make this crazy wild coin from the now broken up Oliver Jung Type Collection-the former #1 (The Type Collection). He had nothing but amazing coins. This coin is crazy wild amazing!

Superior deep mirrors beam boldly from all over. The mirrors exhibit tremendous clarity and are incredibly clean. Calling this coin perfect is not a stretch. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors are like a sheet of freshly formed ice glistening in the sun.  The flash they deliver is powerful! Both sides have such and original crazy swirling group of colors Picasso is trying to be cloned to come back and paint with them! Moderate colors of russet/navy/blue/reddish gold/olive swirl all over in a powerful pattern. Miss Liberty and every detail stand out with needle sharp strikes and thick frost. Your eyes will drop and roll around like ours did when we first saw this killer crazy GEM!

Only 731 Minted. PCGS 3, NGC 7, CAC 2. There are really NO coins of similar quality due to the colors.  The current Collectors Universe Value $20,000.00. That really does not apply to a coin like this-but we did buy it right. Sure, there are other PR68 Cameo coins out there, but few are comparable.
