We have seen several examples of this date being totally flat and dull. This coin is way superior and is quite lively! Its also from the greatest collection EVER assembled-Louis Eliasberg. What a pedigree that is! Silky smooth surfaces are a delight to behold. They are exceedingly clean. Even if you used a strong glass, you find no impairments. A thick strong luster enhances the totally original moderate golden that partially covers both sides. Most impressive-the details are clearly above average in strike. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 5, NGC 8, CAC 6. Prior to this coin selling, the last record we have of a 1899O selling in auction was for $17,625.00 10/2014. A coin like this is really on sale in the marketplace (see our Market Report). The upside long term potential is tremendous.
