What a great example of a VERY rare and under VALUED date in ANY grade!
Superb GEM Mirrors are super deep and beam from all over. The mirrors have tremendous clarity, cleanliness, and bold reflection. They look like a freshly formed perfect sheet of ice. A beautiful coating of totally original lavender/purple/lilac/pale forest green colors open into deep silver centers. The colors are NOT dull. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a silvery white and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is great!
ONLY 777 were minted. PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 2. PCGS has graded 2 coins PR67+ CA, BOTH of which are impounded in major a collections. VERY important to note: this was also the last PCGS PR67 to appear in auction when it sold for $10,925.00 back in 03/2008. 1902 has always been a “silent stopper” for the series. Opportunity knocks loud here!
