50C 1902-S PCGS MS66+

$8,250.00

Some times it can be hard to tell why a coin is a MS66+ and not a 67. In this case at first glance, that is so true. Too bad they can’t call this a 66.9+ on the holder!

Outstanding surfaces are the epitome of perfection. You can use a powerful microscope and not find any imperfections. Only the faintest of lines could be detected by the scope on the cheek. Still, this coin can be considered virtually perfect! A strong luster glows well from all over. Both sides have a light original gold/pale olive color that mixes with the unmessed with silver surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 7, NGC 5, CAC 5. PCGS has graded 2 in MS66+ with possibly 3 in MS67+. The other coin sold for $8,400.00 08/2018. The coin we have here will be a joy to include in any GEM Type or Barber set. Barbers in MS seem to be such good deals today. Opportunity  knocks loud here!
