Deep shimmering mirrors are the epitome of cleanliness, clarity, and reflectivity. You’ll want to twirl this coin all day! An ORIGINAL, moderate mix of PRETTY pale purple/blue/lavender/gold/pale olive colors swirls all over. Miss Liberty and the details are moderately frosted (just miss cameo status) and have extremely sharp strikes. The eye appeal is flashy and tremendous!
Only 650 were ever minted. PCGS 9, NGC 17, CAC 1. PCGS has graded 7 coins higher (but they are $20,000.00 coins these days). Prior to this coin, which sold for only $47,050.00 at the CSNS sale, the last PCGS NON CAC to sell at auction brought $9,200.00 (1/04) NINE full years ago! Does not look like you’ll see many PR67s around!
