No question this is a superior VERY HIGH-END GEM! This coin is way closer to a PR66 then a PR65.
Deep mirrors beam intensely all over. The mirrors have bold clarity and are clean. When you twirl the coins, the mirrors look like freshly formed sheets of ice blazing in the sun. There is a touch of reddish gold toning by the lower rims and devices. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do offer generous frost. The eye appeal is dazzling!
ONLY 543 were minted. PCGS 31, NGC 32, CAC 9. This is the ONLY PR65+ graded. Of course it never sold via auction. We’re marking it up at little over what we paid. You can’t get a better deal on a top notch coin like this anywhere!
