One look and you can tell that since 1915 (105 YEARS AGO), this coin has been carefully handled and carefully stored.
Extra satiny surfaces are extremely clean and are smooth. We used a strong glass and looked around hard and found only a microscopic tic or two. There actually is a strong luster. Both sides are a deeper original golden brown/champagne color. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do appear boldly. This is not a low end or dull coin! The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 23, NGC 8, CAC 15. PCGS has graded just 5 coin ins MS66+. Only NGC has one coin higher. In 01/2019 we sold a lighter toned example for $5,288.00. he current Collectors Universe Value is $5,750.00. It is our strong opinion that Barber Coin BOTH MS+PR are tremendous values today. MS especially have been unfairly spanked. We think time will make it all right.
