This is a wonderful GEM example of date that typically comes flat and dull. The overall quality is high end.
Only a few light marks in the dreaded right field keep this coin from a MS65+. Overall, the surfaces are super clean and satiny smooth. A surprising luster shows off the gorgeous original creamy white colors all over. There are NO spots and this coin has never been messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck-for an 1918D. The eye appeal is very nice!
