This piece is a splendid example of a date and grade seldom seen. The quality is VERY HIGH END.
The surfaces are clearly above average in terms of cleanliness and satiny texture. You don’t need a strong glass to see how delightfully hit free the dreaded right field is. Both sides are an original creamy white with a faint blush of pale reddish gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have super sharp strikes. The eye appeal is exceptional!
PCGS 42, NGC 29, CAC 17. Of course lesser coins can be bought for cheaper prices. In 2019, these sold for prices of $4,200.00-$6,500.00 (we see no records of any PCGS CAC pieces being sold at auction in 2020). We sold an MS67+ in our auction for $36,425.00.
