This coin is remarkably HIGH END. We have tried this coin 3X for a + (we make NO promises). It is light years beyond the majority we see. We make no promises it will ever +, but gee whiz, we wish all 1936 Walkers looked like this!
Exceptional deep hard mirrored surfaces gleam with a bold, dramatic vibrance, unencumbered by any haze or toning that detract from the SUPERB, original reflection on both sides. This coin does indeed have strong contrast. Exceptionally clean and offering bold clarity, the eye appeal is exceedingly high end for the grade. Housed in a slightly older generation blue tag holder.
PCGS 56, NGC 77, CAC 28. Prior to this coin realizing $11,750.00, the last coin to sell in auction brought $15,275.00 10/2019.
You will NOT see many 1936 Walkers with genuine clear mirrors like this. There actually is cameo contrast too (if only the sun had frost). This is what a true VERY HIGH END 1936 Walker should look like!
