EX GUTTAG FAMILY. We call it “as struck” because its obvious to us that nothing has touched this GEM since the day it was minted! Only a little more color and this would have been a $10,000.00+ coin!
Superior surfaces are clean and have a light satiny texture. A strong luster highlights ORIGINAL light to moderate colors of gold/lime/pale blue/champagne that swirl all over. All of the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!
ONLY 8900 were minted. PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 20 (ALL). PCGS has graded 6 coins higher-with the last one selling in 2009 for $10,925.00. As everyone knows, Commems have for ever been underrated!
