This is one of our favorite PR Walker Dates and grades. We rarely ever see these non hazy or really nice. Of course, this coin is really nice (we wouldn’t own it otherwise)!
Above average mirrors are really strong. Unlike so many 1936 mirrors, these are super clean, have good clarity, and do have strong reflectivity. There is no question this coin is original and never has been dipped. Only a super faint trace of gold can be seen by the outer rims. Miss Liberty and the details not only are sharply struck,, they do have light silver frost. The eye appeal is superb!
PCGS 32, NGC 81, CAC 14. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $15,862.00 08/2013 Heritage. You’d think more of these would have appeared-but obviously they have not. We are pleased to own and offer this superb GEM example.
