What a SUPERB GEM! This coin is the epitome of absolute perfection!
Use any kind of powerful device (neutron microscopic, etc) to view this coin with. You can look 100X and find ZERO impairments of ANY size. for its 83 years history, this coin has been perfectly saved and stored. obviously it was taken out of its envelope early. The luster is strong and glows from all over. A smaller crescent of totally original reddish gold hugs the right obverse. There is no question to us this coin has never been dipped or messed with. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 57, NGC 85, CAC 34. PCGS has graded 9 in MS68+ and 2-WOW in MS69! The last MS68+ to sell in auction was a NON CAC piece. It brought $5,800.00 08/2019. The current Collectors universe value is $6,000.00 (CAC Value does not do + coins).
