PCGS was brutal when they graded this coin. We make no promise it will ever MS67, but the + machine seemed to have picked the wrong coin!
Fantastic clean surfaces are lightly satiny and are smooth. A strong luster beams and shows off soft pearl/pale gold colors. There are NO spots or problems. Boone and all the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is great!
9800 were minted. PCGS 376, NGC 248, CAC 30 (all). PCGS has graded only 7 MS66+.
The originality of this coin is unquestionable. It is from the Guttag collection which had been away for decades until recently.
