When we first saw this, we are captivated by the coins stunning flash. But after twirling it around a little we realized the obverse is prooflike! Such a neat coin too!
You can see some light die polishing lines on the obverse (MINT MADE). Overall, both sides are clean. An intense luster meets up with light mirrors in the obverse. Both sides are a frosty white. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. For a split second on first glance, this coin does look like a proof! The eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 48, NGC 35, CAC 18. The last one to sell in auction brought $4,113.00 01/2014 Heritage. This is NOT an easy date to find in MS67.
