Even though we have 5,000+ GEM Walkers from the McClaren Collection, we will ALWAYS buy really nice ones when offered. This coin was too nice to pass up!
The highlight of this Superb GEM is its cleanliness. Like a butler w/a white glove looking for dust, we check that right field hard. On this coin, the delicate right field (and ALL of the fields) are perfectly clean and satiny smooth. Some very light tiny patches of toning can ONLY be detected with a glass. Otherwise, this is a white coin. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 180, NGC 189, CAC 12. We strongly believe these are too cheap at UNDER $1,000.00! There are LESS than 5 so far in the McClaren deal and we just do not see these offered with any frequency.
