50C 1941S PCGS MS65
McCLAREN COLLECTION. Rarely do you ever see 1941S Walkers with any color. This coin has a thin band of russet/golden brown/blue by the outer rims only on the obverse. The surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. Even using a strong glass the dreaded right field only shows a raised line and NO bag marks. Miss Liberty and the details are slightly above average in strike (NOTE: these come flat typically). The eye appeal is pretty neat. NOTE: this is NOT a wild colored coin-its more like an accent of color.
PCGS 1966, NGC 857, CAC 33. The last one to sell in a major public auction brought $1,220.00 03/2009 B+M. The published bids for these are ridiculously cheap.
