50C 1941S/S PCGS MS65
Excuse us for being so ignorant. We have NEVER heard of this variety until now. In fact, when we bought the coin we did so because of the gorgeous partial rainbow colors. The seller told us to submit it for designation review. Sure enough it is a S/S RPM FS-501 (whatever that means).
First, the quality if this coin is SUPER HIGH END. The surfaces on both sides are smooth, ultra clean (even the dreaded right field is clean), and emit a strong luster. However, the neatest thing is that on the right obverse, there is a bold thin semi-crescent of partial rainbow colors (pearl green/lilac/gold/golden brown). The reverse is untoned. Miss Liberty and the details are extremely well struck fro a 1941S-you can actually see nearly full skirt lines and her full head. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 1994, NGC 863, CAC 47. Even in the huge McClaren Collection of Walkers, so far we have only seen 2 colored 41S pieces (or which only one stickered). This is the ONLY S/S CAC has stickered. If you collect Walkers, this represents a unique opportunity. We’re selling it as we bought it-for its neat colors-not the variety!
This coin is posted at our BEST price!
