This is a great coin because of its quality and eye appeal. In the end, its pretty rare too. We think prices of coins like this are wrong fully depressed.
Shimmering mirrors have a “glass like” look. They are sleek, clean, clear, and have strong reflectivity. There are NO spots or issues to be found. Both sides have a light original (NOT hazy or dull) golden tint. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has generous frost. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 25, NGC 48, CAC 16. PCGS has graded only 5 pieces in PR66+ CA. The last one to sell in auction brought $1,410.00 09/2015. Do NOT let the mintage of 1150 fool you. These do NOT appear often. We also think the fact this coin is 136 years old and is in such a great state of preservation that any price BELOW $2,000.00 is a steal. Think about building a Cameo PR Shield 5C set-it can be done!
