5C 1885 PCGS PR66+ CAMEO

This coin is a HIGH END example of this “better” date Proof Liberty 5C. Bold mirrors beam from all over. They have superior clarity, cleanliness, and are highly reflective. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors give off a deep glass like roll. There is a faint trace of original gold. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick creamy white frosting. The eye appeal is pretty! PCGS 50, NGC 38, CAC 34. PCGS has graded 6 in PR66+ Cameo.  The last one to sell in auction brought $1,62.50 03/2016. The one before in 2015 brought $1,880.00. We think 2 1/2 years without any auctioned is a VERY long time. Finding nice examples of this date is not as easy as you might think!
